The City of Stacy, MN, first settled in 1870 and establish in 1875 was named in honor of Dr. Stacy B. Collins an early resident. The post office was established in 1873 and the village had a station on the St. Paul and Duluth railroad, it was incorporated as a village on April 13th 1923.
